[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ returned to me one day from a funeral in Al-Baqi' and found me suffering from a headache. He said, "I am suffering from a headache too, O Aisha." I asked him, "What bothers you if I die before you? I would have washed you, shrouded you, prayed for you, and buried you." He smiled and then began to experience the pain in which he died.

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came back from Al-Baqi’ and I had a headache and was saying: ‘O my head!’ He said: ‘Rather, I should say, O my head, O ‘Aishah!’ Then he said: ‘It will not matter if you were to die before me, for I will take care of you, wash you, shroud you, offer the funeral prayer for you and bury you.’”

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned to me one day from a funeral at Al-Baqi' while I had a headache. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my head hurts." He replied, "Mine too." Then he asked, "What if I were to wash you, shroud you, pray over you, and bury you? Would that not harm you if I died before you?" I said, "No, but it would be as if I were dead by you, and by Allah, if you were to do that, I would divorce myself from you and marry some of your wives." At this, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled and started to feel the pain in his head, in which he later died.
