البزّار:٧٨٩وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ نا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ نا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جُرَيِّ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ السَّدُوسِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُضَحَّى بِعَضْبَاءِ الْأُذُنِ وَالْقَرْنِ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ فَقُلْتُ لِسَعِيدٍ مَا الْعَضْبَاءُ فَقَالَ النِّصْفُ فَمَا زَادَ

[Machine] Ali heard the Prophet ﷺ saying that he forbade sacrificing parts of the ear and horn. Qatadah said, "I asked Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib about the 'adhab (part of an animal's ear and horn) and he said, 'Half is enough, and anything beyond that is excess.'"
