البزّار:٦٢٧٥ – حَدَّثنا محمد بن المثنى حَدَّثنا مَرْحُومُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَعِنْدَهُ

ابْنَةٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فعرضت عليه نفسها فقالت يارسول اللَّهِ أَلَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ حَاجَةٌ فَقَالَتِ ابْنَتُهُ مَا أَقَلَّ حَيَاءَهَا أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا فَقَالَ هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكِ رَغِبَتْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ نَفْسَهَاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ ثابتٍ إلاَّ مَرْحُومٌ وَمَرْحُومٌ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ مشهور

bukhari:5120 – ʿAlī b. ʿAbdullāh > Marḥūm > Thābit al-Bunānī

I was with Anas while his daughter was present with him. Anas said, "A woman came to Allah's Apostle and presented herself to him, saying, 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, have you any need for me (i.e. would you like to marry me)?' "Thereupon Anas's daughter said, "What a shameless lady she was ! Shame! Shame!" Anas said, "She was better than you; she had a liking for the Prophet ﷺ so she presented herself for marriage to him."

البخاري:٥١٢٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْحُومٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ قَالَ

ibnmajah:2001 – Abū Bishr Bakr b. Khalaf And Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Marḥūm b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Thābit

“We were sitting with Anas bin Mahk, and a daughter of his was with him. Anas said: 'A woman came to the Prophet and offered herself to him. She said: " O Messenger of Allah, do you have any need of me?"' His daughter said: 'How little modesty she had!' He said: 'She was better than you, because she wanted (to marry) the Messenger of Allah, and she offered herself to him. "

ابن ماجة:٢٠٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْحُومُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَعِنْدَهُ ابْنَةٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ

أَنَسٌ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَعَرَضَتْ نَفْسَهَا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لَكَ فِيَّ حَاجَةٌ فَقَالَتِ ابْنَتُهُ مَا أَقَلَّ حَيَاءَهَا فَقَالَ هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكِ رَغِبَتْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَعَرَضَتْ نَفْسَهَا عَلَيْهِ

ahmad:13835 – ʿAffān > Marḥūm > Thābit

“We were sitting with Anas bin Mahk, and a daughter of his was with him. Anas said: 'A woman came to the Prophet and offered herself to him.
