البزّار:١٥٤١ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَنْجُوفٍ قَالَ نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ نا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ جَاءَ ابْنُ النَّوَّاحَةَ رَسُولًا مِنْ عِنْدِ مُسَيْلِمَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ

اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُسَيْلِمَةَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ كُنْتُ قَاتِلًا رَسُولًا لَقَتَلْتُكَ أَوْ لَضَرَبْتُ عُنُقَكَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الثَّوْرِيُّ

[Machine] The son of the boatman and the son of Uthāl came to the Prophet ﷺ as messengers of Musaylimah. The Prophet asked them, "Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?" They replied, "We bear witness that Musaylimah is the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I believe in Allah and His Messengers. If I were to kill a messenger, I would have killed both of you." Abdullah said, "So the tradition was that messengers are not to be killed."

أحمد:٣٧٦١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ ابْنُ النَّوَّاحَةِ وَابْنُ أُثَالٍ رَسُولَا مُسَيْلِمَةَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُمَا أَتَشْهَدَانِ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ؟ قَالَا نَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُسَيْلِمَةَ رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ آمنْتُ بِاللهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَوْ كُنْتُ قَاتِلًا رَسُولًا لَقَتَلْتُكُمَا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ فَمَضَتِ السُّنَّةُ أَنَّ الرُّسُلَ لَا تُقْتَلُ
