[Machine] I heard and then he stopped. I saw him desiring the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , so he said, "Wait, O people of Medina, from the valley of Hulayfah and the other road of Juhfah. Wait, O people of Iraq, from the region of 'Irq. Wait, O people of Najd, from Qarn. Wait, O people of Yemen, from Yalamlamah."  

البيهقي:٨٩١١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْفَامِيُّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ أنبأ وَقَالَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ حدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَسْأَلُ عَنِ الْمَهَلِّ فَقَالَ

سَمِعْتُ ثُمَّ انْتَهَى أُرَاهُ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَالطَّرِيقُ الْآخَرُ الْجُحْفَةُ وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

I heard (and I think he carried it directly to the Messenger of Allah) him saying: For the people of Medina Dhu'l-Hulaifa is the place for entering upon the state of Ihram, and for (the people coming through the other way, i.e. Syria) it is Juhfa; for the people of Iraq it is Dhat al-'Irq; for the people of Najd it is Qarn (al-Manazil) and for the people of Yemen it is Yalamlam.  

مسلم:١١٨٣b – وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ قَالَ عَبْدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ يُسْأَلُ عَنِ الْمُهَلِّ فَقَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَحْسِبُهُ رَفَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَالطَّرِيقُ الآخَرُ الْجُحْفَةُ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

[Machine] I heard, then he finished, I saw him wanting the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Delay the people of Madinah from Thilul-Hulayfah and the other road Al-Juhfah, delay the people of Iraq from Thaat al-Iraq, delay the people of Najd from Qarn, and delay the people of Yemen from Yalamlamah."  

أحمد:١٤٥٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يُسْأَلُ عَنِ الْمُهَلِّ فَقَالَ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The mohall (grazing area) of the people of Madinah is Dhi'l-Hulayfah, and the mohall of the people of the other path is Al-Juhfah, and the mohall of the people of Iraq is Dhat 'Irq, and the mohall of the people of Najd is Qarn, and the mohall of the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."  

أحمد:١٤٦١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنِ الْمُهَلِّ؟ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الطَّرِيقِ الْأُخْرَى مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ  

ahmad:4455 – Hushaym > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd And ʿUbayd Allāh b. ʿUmar And Ibn ʿAwn > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ from where should he enter the state of ihram (pilgrim's sacred state)? He replied, "The people of Al-Madinah should enter ihram from Dhul-Hulayfah, the people of Ash-Sham (Greater Syria) should enter ihram from Al-Juhfah, the people of Yemen should enter ihram from Yalamlam, and the people of Najd should enter ihram from Qarn." Ibn 'Umar also stated that people with a lineage to Qarn should enter ihram from there.  

أحمد:٤٤٥٥ – حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَابْنُ عَوْنٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مِنْ أَيْنَ يُحْرِمُ ؟ قَالَ مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَقَاسَ النَّاسُ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ بِقَرْنٍ

"مَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَالطَّرِيقُ الآخَرُ الْحُجْفَةُ، وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِراقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ، وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ، وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ".
