[Machine] I heard and then he stopped. I saw him desiring the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , so he said, "Wait, O people of Medina, from the valley of Hulayfah and the other road of Juhfah. Wait, O people of Iraq, from the region of 'Irq. Wait, O people of Najd, from Qarn. Wait, O people of Yemen, from Yalamlamah."

I heard (and I think he carried it directly to the Messenger of Allah) him saying: For the people of Medina Dhu'l-Hulaifa is the place for entering upon the state of Ihram, and for (the people coming through the other way, i.e. Syria) it is Juhfa; for the people of Iraq it is Dhat al-'Irq; for the people of Najd it is Qarn (al-Manazil) and for the people of Yemen it is Yalamlam.

[Machine] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ from where should he enter the state of ihram (pilgrim's sacred state)? He replied, "The people of Al-Madinah should enter ihram from Dhul-Hulayfah, the people of Ash-Sham (Greater Syria) should enter ihram from Al-Juhfah, the people of Yemen should enter ihram from Yalamlam, and the people of Najd should enter ihram from Qarn." Ibn 'Umar also stated that people with a lineage to Qarn should enter ihram from there.  

أحمد:٤٤٥٥حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَابْنُ عَوْنٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مِنْ أَيْنَ يُحْرِمُ ؟ قَالَ مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَقَاسَ النَّاسُ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ بِقَرْنٍ

"مَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَالطَّرِيقُ الآخَرُ الْحُجْفَةُ، وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِراقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ، وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ، وَمَهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ".
