[Machine] He informed me, saying, "I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the presence of some people from the tribe of Banu Saad ibn Bakr, and I was the youngest among them. They left me behind with their belongings and then came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to fulfill their needs. Then he asked, "Is there anyone among you left?" They said, "Yes, there is a young boy with us whom we left behind with our belongings." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to send me to him, and they came to me and said, "Respond to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." So I went to him, and when he saw me, he said, "May Allah not make you dependent on others, so do not ask people for anything, for the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and the provision of Allah is sought and asked for." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke to me in our language.  

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي أُنَاسٍ مِنْ بَنِي سَعْدِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ وَكُنْتُ أَصْغَرَ الْقَوْمِ فَخَلَّفُونِي فِي رِحَالِهِمْ ثُمَّ أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَضَى مِنْ حَوَائِجِهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَلْ بَقِيَ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ غُلَامٌ مَعَنَا خَلَّفْنَاهُ فِي رِحَالِنَا فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَبْعَثُوا إِلَيَّ فَأَتَوْنِي فَقَالُوا أَجِبْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَلَمَّا رَآنِي قَالَ «مَا أَغْنَاكَ اللَّهُ فَلَا تَسْأَلِ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا فَإِنَّ الْيَدَ الْعُلْيَا هِيَ الْمُنْطِيَةُ وَإِنَّ الْيَدَ السُّفْلَى هِيَ الْمُنْطَاةُ وَإِنَّ مَالَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى لَمَسْئُولٌ وَمُنْطَى» قَالَ فَكَلَّمَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِلُغَتِنَا  

[Machine] "I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a group from the Banu Saad, and I was the youngest among them. They left me behind with their belongings and came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to fulfill their needs. He asked, 'Is anyone left?' They replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah, a young boy is left with our belongings.' So he ordered them to call me, and I went to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'If Allah has given you something, do not ask people for anything, for the upper hand is the giving hand and the lower hand is the begging hand, and Allah is the one to be asked and the one who gives.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke to me in our language."  

وَفَدْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ بَنِي سَعْدٍ وَكُنْتُ أَصْغَرَهُمْ فَخَلَّفُونِي فِي رِحَالِهِمْ فَأَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَضَوْا حَوَائِجَهُمْ فَقَالَ «بَقِيَ أَحَدٌ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ غُلَامٌ بَقِيَ فِي رِحَالِنَا فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا أَنْطَاكَ اللهُ فَلَا تَسْأَلِ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا فَإِنَّ الْيَدَ الْعُلْيَا هِيَ الْمُنْطِيَةُ وإنَّ الْيَدَ السُّفْلَى هِيَ الْمُنْطَاةُ وَأَنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الْمَسئُولُ وَالْمُنْطِي» فَكَلِّمْنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِلُغَتِنَا  

"عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ السَّعْدِىِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِى قَالَ: قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِى أُنَاسٍ مِنْ بَنِي سَعْدِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ، وَكُنْتُ أَصْغَرَ الْقَوْمِ، فَجَعَلُونِي فِى رِحَالِهِمْ، ثُمَّ أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَضَوْا حَوَائِجَهُم فَقَالَ: هَلْ بَقِىَ مِنْكُمَ أحَدٌ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ! غُلَامٌ مِنَّا خَلَّفْنَاهُ فِى رِحَالِنَا، فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَدْعُونى، فَقَالُوا: أَجِبْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا دَنَوْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: ما أَعطَاكَ اللهُ فَلا تَسْألِ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا، فَإِنَّ الْيَدَ الْعُلْيَا هِىَ المُعْطِيَةُ، وَالْيَدَ السُّفْلَى هِىَ الْمُنْطَاةُ، وَإِنَّ مَالَ اللهِ مَسْئُولٌ وَمَنْطِىٌّ، فَكَلَّمَنِي رَسُولُ الله ﷺ بِلُغَتِنَا".
