[Machine] Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does me a favor, I will reciprocate by admitting him into Paradise." Thawban said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is me!" He ﷺ replied, "Do not ask people for anything." Thawban said, "Sometimes my whip falls while I am on my camel, and I cannot retrieve it until someone comes down and gives it to me." This hadith was narrated by Abu Al-'Aliyah, from Thawban.  

البيهقي:٧٨٧٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ

عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ يتَقَبَّلْ لِي بِوَاحِدَةٍ أَتَقَبَّلْ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ قَالَ ثَوْبَانُ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ لَا تَسْأَلِ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا قَالَ فَلَرُبَّمَا سَقَطَ سَوْطُ ثَوْبَانَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْبَعِيرِ فَلَا يَقُولُ لِأَحَدٍ نَاوِلْنِيهِ حَتَّى يَنْزِلَ فَيَأْخُذَهُ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ

Thawban said: “The Messenger of Allah said: 'Who will commit himself to one thing, I will guarantee him paradise?' I said: 'I will.' He said: 'Do not ask people for anything.' So Thawban would drop his whip while he was on his mount, and he would not say to anyone: 'Get that for me' rather he would dismount and grab it.”

[Machine] Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever guarantees me one thing, I will guarantee them Paradise." Thawban said: "I said, 'It is me, O Messenger of Allah.'" He ﷺ said: "Do not ask people for anything." Thawban narrated that his whip fell while he was on his camel, so he slowed down to pick it up and he did not request anyone to hand it to him.

[Machine] Narrated Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ : the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever accepts one of my requests, I will accept Paradise for him?" He said, "I said, 'Me, O Messenger of Allah.'" He said, "Do not ask people for anything." He said, "Perhaps Thawban's whip fell while he was on the saddle, and no one would ask him to hand it to him until he got down and took it."

"عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : مَنْ يَتقَبَّلُ لِى بِوَاحِدَة أَتَقَبَّلُ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ ثَوْبَانُ: أَنَا، قَالَ: لاَ تَسْأَل النَّاسَ شَيْئًا، فَإنْ كَانَ سَوْطُهُ لَيَقَعُ، فَمَا تَقُولُ لأَحَدٍ نَاوِلْنِيهِ حَتَّى تَنْزِلَ فَتَأخُذَهُ".
