The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke in a distinct and leisurely manner. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4838)
سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ كَانَ فِي كَلَامِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تَرْتِيلٌ أَوْ تَرْسِيلٌ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke in a distinct and leisurely manner. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4838)
سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ كَانَ فِي كَلَامِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تَرْتِيلٌ أَوْ تَرْسِيلٌ
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. 'Abdullah through another chain of transmitters.
سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke in a distinct and leisurely manner.
سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ كَانَ فِي كَلاَمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَرْتِيلٌ أَوْ تَرْسِيلٌ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came walking to visit me (when I was sick), as did Abu Bakr, when I was with Banu Salimah.
سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ عَادَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَاشِيًا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَنَا فِي بَنِي سَلِمَةَ
[AI] I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying, "The Prophet ﷺ was never asked something but he refused."
سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ «مَا سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ شَيْئًا قَطُّ فَأَبَى»
