[Machine] I said to Ibn Abbas, "I am a fast reader, I quickly memorize the Quran." So Ibn Abbas said, "I encourage you to recite Surah Al-Baqarah and memorize it, as I love reciting it more than reciting the entire Quran in a hurrying manner."  

البيهقي:٤٧١٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ قَالَ
