[Machine] What I have not forgotten is that I always used to greet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in prayer from his right and his left saying, "Peace and mercy be upon you." Then he said, "It is as if I am looking at the whiteness of his cheeks, like this."  

البيهقي:٢٩٧٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

مَا نَسِيتُ مِنَ الْأَشْيَاءِ فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَنْسَ تَسْلِيمَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ خَدَّيْهِ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ وَرَوَاهُ حُرَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي مَطَرٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ

[Machine] "What I have not forgotten of things is that I have never forgotten to greet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in prayer, by saying 'Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, and the mercy of Allah.
