[Machine] A man from the Ansar was entrusted with something, and he had a freed slave woman and a woman who had children from him. There was some dispute between the two women, so the freed slave woman sent a message to the man, saying, "Your slave is going to be sold, O Laqa." The news reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he said, "She should not be sold." He ordered her to be freed. This hadith was narrated to us by Abu Bakr bin al-Harith al-Faqih, who heard it from Ali bin Umar al-Hafiz, who heard it from Muhammad bin Ismail al-Farisi, who heard it from Ahmad bin Muhammad bin al-Hajjaj bin Rushdeen, who heard it from Yunus bin Abdullah bin Rahim al-Asqalani. And Yunus has heard it from me, Ahmad bin Hanbal. Rashdeen bin Saad al-Mahri narrated it to me, and Talhah bin Abi Sa'id narrated it from Ubaidullah bin Abi Ja'far, who narrated it from Ya'qub bin al-Ashajj, who narrated it from Busr bin Sa'id, who heard it from Khawwat bin Jubair, who said that a man was entrusted with something, and he mentioned the hadith in a similar manner. He said that Rashdeen narrated it from Ibn Lahiyah, who heard it from Ubaidullah bin Abi Ja'far, who narrated it from Bukair instead of Ya'qub. And Allah knows best.

[Machine] He was asked while on the pulpit about a man who divorced his wife three times, then someone else married her, closed the door, removed the veil, and revealed her face, then divorced her. He said, "She is not permissible for the first man until the other man tastes her honey." This is the wording of the Hadith of Al-'Abdiyy. Al-'Abdiyy also said it in his narration, as did Abu Ahmad Al-Zubayri. The authentic narration is from 'Abd Al-Rahman bin Mahdi, and it was narrated by Waki' once from Sufyan, who narrated from 'Alqamah, from Razeen bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmarri. He was contradicted by Shu'bah in his chain of narrators, so he narrated it from 'Alqamah bin Marthad, from Salim bin Razeen, from Salim bin 'Abdullah, from Sa'id bin Al-Musayyib, from Ibn 'Umar. The Prophet informed us of this and it was narrated by Abu 'Abdullah Al-Hafiz and Abu Bakr Ahmad bin Al-Hasan. They said, "Abu Al-Abbas Muhammad bin Ya'qub informed us, Muhammad bin Ishaq informed me, and I am the successor of Yahya bin Ma'in." They said, "Ghandar informed us, Shu'bah mentioned it to us, and I received it from Muhammad bin Isma'il Al-Bukhari that he weakened the Hadith of Shu'bah and Sufyan together. And Abi Zar'ah said that the Hadith of Sufyan is the most authentic."

[Machine] Did you hear that from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? He replied, "Yes." And Abu Zakariya bin Abi Ishaq, Abu Bakr bin al-Hasan, and Abu Sa'id bin Abi 'Amr informed us, they said: Abu al-'Abbas, who is the deaf one, narrated to us that Rabi' bin Sulayman narrated to us from al-Shafi'i, who narrated from Muslim and Abdul Majid and 'Ubaidullah bin al-Harith, from Ibn Juraij, who mentioned it in its meaning. Abu Sa'id added in his narration, al-Shafi'i said, "The meat of hyenas is not sold in Makkah except between Safa and Marwa." Abu al-Husayn bin Bishran al-'Adl informed us in Baghdad, Abu al-Hasan 'Ali bin Muhammad al-Misri narrated to us, 'Ubaidullah bin Sa'id bin 'Ufair narrated to us from 'Abdullah bin Salih, from al-Layth bin Sa'd, he said: 'Abdullah bin Wahb narrated to me from Ibn Juraij. He also narrated from 'Ali, Ahmad bin Hammad narrated, Ibn Abi Maryam narrated, Yahya bin Ayyub narrated to me, Ismail bin Umayyah and Ibn Juraij, and Jarir bin Hazim, that 'Abdullah bin 'Ubayd bin 'Umair narrated to them. 'Abd al-Rahman bin Abi 'Ammar informed me that he asked Jabir bin 'Abdullah about the hyena, and he mentioned it in its manner.
