[Machine] He (the man) came to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and said, "Indeed, I had fathered twelve or thirteen daughters for myself in the time of ignorance (pre-Islamic period)." So the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Free them the same number as the breaths."  

البيهقي:١٦٤٢٥ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ قِرَاءَةً أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ أنبأ الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا قَيْسٌ عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ

أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي وَأَدْتُ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ أَوْ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ بِنْتًا لِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتِقْ عَدَدَهُنَّ نَسَمًا
