[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ in the hadith of Looqatah, he said: "If someone brings the lost item and recognizes its owner and the quantity, then give it back to him." Abu Dawood said: Hammad also narrated from Ubaidullah ibn Umar from Amr ibn Shuaib from his father from his grandfather from the Prophet ﷺ with a similar narration.  

البيهقي:١٢١٠٩ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَرَبِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْمُنْبَعِثِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ ؓ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي حَدِيثِ اللُّقَطَةِ قَالَ فَإِنْ جَاءَ بَاغِيهَا فَعَرَفَ عِفَاصَهَا وَعَدَدَهَا فَادْفَعْهَا إِلَيْهِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ أَيْضًا عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ
