[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ about the Lqiata, he said, "Know its quantity, its measures, and its container. If someone comes and informs you about its number and measures, give it to him. Otherwise, enjoy it for yourself."  

البيهقي:١٢١٠٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ عَنْ أُبِيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ؓ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ اعْرِفْ عَدَدَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا وَوِعَاءَهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ يُخْبِرُكَ بِعَدَدِهَا وَوِكَائِهَا فَادْفَعْهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَمْتِعْ بِها  

أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ 12108 وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا تَمْتَامٌ ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَحْصِ عَدَدَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا وَخَيْطَهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَعَرَفَ الصِّفَةَ فَأَعْطِهِ إِيَّاهَا وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَنْفِعْ بِهَا وَبِمَعْنَاهُ رُوِيَ فِي إِحْدَى الرِّوَايَتَيْنِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ
