"The Prophet ﷺ was not tall nor was he short, his hands and feet were thick, his head was large, he was big-boned, he had a long Masrubah (the line of hair from the chest to the navel), and whenever he walked, he leaned forward as if he was going down a decline. I have not seen anyone before him nor after him that resembled him ﷺ."  

لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالطَّوِيلِ وَلاَ بِالْقَصِيرِ شَثْنَ الْكَفَّيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ ضَخْمَ الرَّأْسِ ضَخْمَ الْكَرَادِيسِ طَوِيلَ الْمَسْرُبَةِ إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ تَكَفُّؤًا كَأَنَّمَا انْحَطَّ مِنْ صَبَبٍ لَمْ أَرَ قَبْلَهُ وَلاَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither tall nor short, he had a large head, a big beard and large hands and feet. His face had a reddish colour; he had a long thin line of hair from the top of his chest to his navel; and he had large joints. When he walked, he walked energetically as is walking downhill, I never saw anyone like him before or since,  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ بِالطَّوِيلِ وَلا بِالْقَصِيرِ ضَخْمُ الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ شَثْنُ الْكَفَّيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ مُشْرَبٌ وَجْهُهُ حُمْرَةًطَوِيلُ الْمَسْرُبَةِ ضَخْمُ الْكَرَادِيسِ إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ تَكَفُّؤًا كَأَنَّمَا يَنْحَطُّ مِنْ صَبَبٍ لَمْ أَرَ قَبْلَهُ وَلا بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ ﷺ  

He had a large head, a reddish white complexion, a large beard, large joints and large hands and feet. He had a long line of hair running from his chest to his navel and the hair on his head was thick and slightly wavy. He used to lean forward when walking as if he was walking uphill, and he was neither tall nor short, I have never seen anyone like him ﷺ before or since. ‘Ali bin Hakeem said in his hadeeth: ‘Ali bin Abi Talib ؓ described the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to us. He said: He had a large head and beautiful, slightly wavy hair.  

أَنَّهُ وَصَفَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ كَانَ عَظِيمَ الْهَامَةِ أَبْيَضَ مُشْرَبًا حُمْرَةً عَظِيمَ اللِّحْيَةِ ضَخْمَ الْكَرَادِيسِ شَثْنَ الْكَفَّيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ طَوِيلَ الْمَسْرُبَةِ كَثِيرَ شَعَرِ الرَّأْسِ رَجْلَهُ يَتَكَفَّأُ فِي مِشْيَتِهِ كَأَنَّمَا يَنْحَدِرُ فِي صَبَبٍ لَا طَوِيلٌ وَلا قَصِيرٌ لَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَهُ قَبْلَهُ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ ﷺ وَقَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَصَفَ لَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ كَانَ ضَخْمَ الْهَامَةِ حَسَنَ الشَّعَرِ رَجِلَهُ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither short not tall; he had a large head and beard, large hands and feet, large joints, a reddish face, and a long line of hair from his chest to his navel. When he walked he walked energetically, as if lifting his feet from a rock. I have never seen anyone like him before or since, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him.  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ بِالْقَصِيرِ وَلا بِالطَّوِيلِ ضَخْمَ الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ شَثْنَ الْكَفَّيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ ضَخْمَ الْكَرَادِيسِ مُشْرَبًا وَجْهُهُ حُمْرَةً طَوِيلَ الْمَسْرُبَةِ إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ تَكَفُّؤًا كَأَنَّمَا يَتَقَلَّعُ مِنْ صَخْرٍ لَمْ أَرَ قَبْلَهُ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ ﷺ  

The Prophet ﷺ had a large head, a reddish complexion, large hands and feet, a large beard, a long line of hair from his chest to his navel, and large joints. He walked as if going downhill, energetically. He was neither short not tall. I have never seen anyone like him before or since.  

شَرِيكٌ قُلْتُ لَهُ عَمَّنْ يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ؟ قَالَ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ضَخْمَ الْهَامَةِ مُشْرَبًا حُمْرَةً شَثْنَ الْكَفَّيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ ضَخْمَ اللِّحْيَةِ طَوِيلَ الْمَسْرُبَةِ ضَخْمَ الْكَرَادِيسِ يَمْشِي فِي صَبَبٍ يَتَكَفَّأُ فِي الْمِشْيَةِ لَا قَصِيرٌ وَلَا طَوِيلٌ لَمْ أَرَ قَبْلَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ ﷺ  

"The Prophet ﷺ was not tall nor was he short, his hands and feet were thick, his head was large, he was big-boned, he had a long Masrubah (the line of hair from the chest to the navel), and whenever he walked, he leaned forward as if he was going down a decline. «لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالطَّوِيلِ وَلَا بِالْقَصِيرِ شَثْنُ الْكَفَّيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ ضَخْمُ الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ مُشْرَبٌ حُمْرَةً ضَخْمُ الْكَرَادِيسِ طَوِيلُ الْمَسْرُبَةِ إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ تَكَفُّؤًا كَأَنَّمَا يَمْشِي يَنْحَطُّ مِنْ صَبَبٍ لَمْ أَرْ قَبْلَهُ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ ﷺ»  

[Machine] He, when describing the Prophet ﷺ , said, "He had a great stature, white-skinned with a reddish complexion. He had a great beard and a long mustache. His hands and feet were beautiful, and when he walked, it was as if he was walking on rainwater. I have never seen anyone like him before or after him."  

أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا وَصَفَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ « كَانَ عَظِيمَ الْهَامَةِ أَبْيَضَ مُشْرَبًا حُمْرَةً عَظِيمَ اللِّحْيَةِ طَوِيلَ الْمَسْرُبَةِ شَثْنَ الْكَفَّيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ إِذَا مَشَى كَأَنَّهُ يَمْشِي فِي صَبَبٍ لَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَهُ قَبْلَهُ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ»  

" عن نافع بنِ جُبَيْر قَالَ: وَصَفَ لَنَا عَلِىٌّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ بِالطَّوِيلِ وَلاَ بِالْقَصِيرِ، وَكَانَ أَبْيَضَ مُشْربًا بِحُمْرَةٍ، ضَخْمَ الهَامَةِ، عَظيمَ اللِّحْيَةِ، كَثِيرَ الشَّعرِ رَجْلَهُ، شَثْنَ الْكَفيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ، صخْمَ الْكَرَادِيسِ، طَوِيلَ الْمَسْرُبَةِ، إِذَا مَشَى يمْشِى يَكْفَأُ كَأَنَّمَا يَنْحَدِرُ مِنْ صَبَبٍ، لَمْ أَرَ قَبْلَهُ وَلاَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ ".  

"عَنْ علِيٍّ: كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ لَيْسَ بِالقَصيرِ وَلاَ بِالطَّويل، ضَخْمَ الرَّأسِ وَالِّلحْيَةِ، شَثْنَ الكَفَّيْنِ وَالقَدَمَيْنِ، مُشْرَبًا وَجْهُهُ حُمْرَةً، طَوِيلَ المَسْرُبَةِ، ضَخْمَ الكرَادِيسِ، إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ تَكَفُّؤا كَأنَّما يَنْحَطُّ مِنْ صَبَبٍ، لَمْ أَرَ قَبْلَهُ وَلاَ بَعْدَه مِثْلَهُ".
