[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to offer prayer, meaning reciting the prostration verse (sajdah), outside of prayer, so he would prostrate and we would prostrate with him, until perhaps none of us could find a place to prostrate."  

أحمد:٦٢٨٥حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي يَعْنِي يَقْرَأُ السَّجْدَةَ فِي غَيْرِ صَلَاةٍ فَيَسْجُدُ وَنَسْجُدُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى رُبَّمَا لَمْ يَجِدْأَحَدُنَا مَكَانًا يَسْجُدُ فِيهِ

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ recited the Sura which contained the prostration of recitation he used to prostrate and then, we, too, would prostrate and some of us did not find a place for prostration.  

البخاري:١٠٧٩حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ السُّورَةَ الَّتِي فِيهَا السَّجْدَةُ فَيَسْجُدُ وَنَسْجُدُ حَتَّى مَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُنَا مَكَانًا لِمَوْضِعِ جَبْهَتِهِ  

ahmad:4669Yaḥyá > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite to us a surah (according to the version of Ibn Numair) outside the prayer (the agreed version goes), then he would prostrate along with him, and none of us could find a place for his forehead. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1412)
