I said to IbnʼUmar ؓ : What about a man who engaged in liʿan with his wife? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would separate them - and he mentioned the hadeeth.

أحمد:٣٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ قَالَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ رَجُلٌ لاعَنَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَقَالَ

فَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَهُمَا وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[Machine] Abu Ibrahim Al-Ansari, from the descendants of Bani Abdul Ashhal, said that Abu Sa'id said, "He mentioned the narration."

أحمد:١١٨٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى

أَنَّ أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ قَالَ إِنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
