ahmad:2461Ḥusayn > Ibn Abū al-Zinād from his father

[Machine] Narrated by Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Ata ibn Alqamah Al-Qurashi, he said: "We entered the house of Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , and found Abdullah ibn Abbas in it. We then mentioned the ablution in relation to what the fire (of hell) had touched. Abdullah said, 'I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating from what the fire had touched, then he prayed without performing ablution.' Some of us said to him, 'Did you really see him, O Ibn Abbas?' He pointed to his eyes with his hand and said, 'I saw the brightness of his eyes.'"

[Machine] I entered the house of Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), and found Abdullah ibn Abbas there. We discussed about ablution from what the fire had touched. Ibn Abbas said that the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) used to eat from what the fire had touched and then pray without performing ablution. We asked him if he had seen him doing so. He pointed to his eyes and said, "My eyes have witnessed it."
