that Jamila... Then he related the whole ,Hadith, (i.e. 199).

أَنَّ جَمِيلَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Samura b. Jundub.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ هَذَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ

[AI] From Ubaidullah ibn Umar, approximately.

عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ نَحْوَهُ

I said to IbnʼUmar ؓ : What about a man who engaged in liʿan with his wife? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would separate them - and he mentioned the hadeeth.

فَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَهُمَا وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Dhubab narrated it and he mentioned it.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ وَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] About Ma'mar, so he mentioned him.

عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] From Abu Tufayl, so he mentioned the narration.

عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] Hamza ibn Abdullah ibn Umar narrated it to me and mentioned it.

حَدَّثَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] I heard Abdullah ibn Umar saying that after that, the Prophet ﷺ and Ubayy ibn Ka'b went to lead the people in praying at the date-palm grove, then he mentioned the hadith.

سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ انْطَلَقَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هُوَ وَأُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ يَؤُمَّانِ النَّخْلَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and mentioned the topic/discussed the matter.

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "From Abdullah Ibn Amr, similar to him..."

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said and then he mentioned the Hadith.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] About his father, so he mentioned the saying.

عَنْ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned him (or it) as being sent."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ مُرْسَلًا

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَاهُ

[AI] About his father, so he mentioned him.

عَنِ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon and mentioned the hadith.

خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with us and mentioned him.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] Abu Ibrahim Al-Ansari, from the descendants of Bani Abdul Ashhal, said that Abu Sa'id said, "He mentioned the narration."

أَنَّ أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ قَالَ إِنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] He heard Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri say, "We used to go out, and then he mentioned the hadith."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُخْرِجُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] He told me and mentioned it.

حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] About Asim, so he mentioned it.

عَنْ عَاصِمٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and he mentioned the hadith.

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَالْحَدِيثَ

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] He informed him, then he mentioned the story.

أَخْبَرَهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] We met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned the hadith.

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned the narration.

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] About the sacrificial animals, he mentioned the narration.

عَنِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2556c)

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ prayed the morning prayer and then said, "There is a witness, so and so," and mentioned the narration.

صَلَّى نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ الْغَدَاةَ ثُمَّ قَالَ شَاهِدٌ فُلَانٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] About Kharshah, he mentioned him.

عَنْ خَرَشَةَ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺفَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

When I came to Madinah, sickness was occurring in the city and they were dying quickly. I sat with 'Umar bin al Khattab ؓ and a funeral passed by, Good things were said about (the deceased) and ‘Umar ؓ said: It is due. Then another (funeral) passed by; good things were said about (the deceased) and he said: It is due. Then a third funeral passed by: bad things were said about the deceased and ‘Umar said: It is due. I said: What is due, O Ameer al Mu'mineen? He said: I said what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿAny Muslim in whose favour four people testify, Allah will admit him to Paradise.ʿ We said: Or three? He said: “Or three.ʿ We said: Or two? He said: ʿOr two.” Then we did not ask him about one, (Using translation from Aḥmad 204)

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] "About Al-Hasan, so he mentioned it."

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] That Abdullah bin Umar mentioned him with his equivalent.

أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَاهُ بِمِثْلِهِ
