The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and said: Allah the Exalted has given you an extra prayer which is better for you then the red camels (i.e. high breed camels). This is the witr which Allah has appointed for you between the night prayer and the daybreak.  

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ قَدْ أَمَدَّكُمْ بِصَلاَةٍ وَهِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ وَهِيَ الْوِتْرُ فَجَعَلَهَا لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ  

"Messenger of Allah came out to us and he said: 'Indeed Allah has assisted you with a Salat that is better for you than red camels: Al-Witr which Allah made for you between the Isha prayer till Al-Fajr has begun."  

أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَدَّكُمْ بِصَلاَةٍ هِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ الْوِتْرُ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلاَةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَبُرَيْدَةَ وَأَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ  

“The Prophet ﷺ came out to us and said: ‘Allah has increased a prayer for you which is better for you than red camels. (It is) Witr, which Allah has enjoined on you between the ‘Isha’ prayer and the onset of dawn.’”  

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَمَدَّكُمْ بِصَلاَةٍ لَهِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمُرِ النَّعَمِ الْوِتْرُ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلاَةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ

لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَمَدَّكُمْ بِصَلَاةٍ هِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ جَعَلَهَا اللهُ لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ  

[Machine] "Ka'b said: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , came out to us for the Fajr prayer and said, 'Allah has extended the night for you with a prayer that is better for you than the red camels.' I asked, 'What is it, O Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'The Witr prayer between the Isha prayer and the dawn (Fajr) prayer.'"  

كَعْبٍقَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ أَمَدَّكُمُ اللهُ اللَّيْلَةَ بِصَلَاةٍ هِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمْرِْ النَّعَمِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَا هِي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ الْوِتْرُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ

"إِنَّ الله قد أمدَّكُمْ بصَلاة هِيَ خَيرٌ لَكُم مِنْ حُمُر النَّعَم الوتْرُ جَعَلَها لَكُمْ فيما بَينَ صَلاةِ الْعِشاءِ إِلَى أن يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ ".  

"إِنَّ الله ﷻ زادَكُمْ صلاةً خَيرًا لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَم: الْوتْر، وَهِيَ لَكُمْ فيما بَينَ صلاة الْعِشاء إِلى طُلُوع الْفَجْرِ".

"لَقَدْ أمَرَكُمُ اللهُ اللَّيلَةَ بصَلاة هِيَ خَيرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمُرِ النَّعَم: الْوتْرُ فِيمَا بَينَ صَلاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى طُلُوع الْفَجْرِ".
