[Machine] "What is this group?" They said, "It is Ka'b who is narrating." He said, "Oh woe to him! Didn't he hear the saying of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? Only a ruler or an appointed person or a vain person narrates."  

أحمد:٢٤٠٠٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرِيبٍ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ مَسْجِدَ حِمْصَ قَالَ وَإِذَا النَّاسُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ فَقَالَ

مَا هَذِهِ الْجَمَاعَةُ؟ قَالُوا كَعْبٌ يَقُصُّ قَالَ يَا وَيْحَهُ أَلَا سَمِعَ قَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَقُصُّ إِلَّا أَمِيرٌ أَوْ مَأْمُورٌ أَوْ مُخْتَالٌ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Only a ruler, or one put in charge, or one who is presumptuous, gives instructions.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَقُصُّ إِلاَّ أَمِيرٌ أَوْ مَأْمُورٌ أَوْ مُخْتَالٌ

عَوْفٌ مَا هَذِهِ؟ فَقَالُوا كَعْبٌ يَقُصُّ فَقَالَ يَا وَيْحَهُ أَمَا سَمِعَ حَدِيثَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَقُصُّ عَلَى النَّاسِ إِلَّا أَمِيرٌ أَوْ مَأْمُورٌ أَوْ مُخْتَالٌ»
