The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite 'By the sun and its brightness' and similar surahs in Isha'. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 999)  

أحمد:٢٢٩٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَأَشْبَاهِهَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ بِ اللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا»
