[Machine] I heard my father saying, "I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a man came and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, should I pray while wearing a sheepskin?' The Prophet replied, 'Where is the tanner?' When the man left, I asked, 'Who is this?' He replied, 'This is Suwaid bin Ghafalah.'"

أحمد:١٩٠٦٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَأُتِيَ رَجُلٌ ضَخْمٌ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عِيسَى قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ حَدِّثْنَا مَا سَمِعْتَ فِي الْفِرَاءِ فَقَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَتَى رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُصَلِّي فِي الْفِرَاءِ؟ قَالَ فَأَيْنَ الدِّبَاغُ؟ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ هَذَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ غَفَلَةَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُصَلِّي فِي الْفِرَاءِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَيْنَ الدِّبَاغُ قَالَ ثَابِتٌ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ غَفَلَةَ
