[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while giving a sermon to the people, saying, "May Allah brighten the face of a servant who hears my speech, memorizes it, and conveys it to someone who has not heard it. Perhaps there may be a person who understands it better than the one who conveys it. There are three things that do not put a strain on the believer's heart: sincerity of action, obedience to those in authority, and sticking to the community. For their call comes from behind them (i.e., their leaders), and Ibn Ishaq said: 'Amr ibn Abi Amr, the freed slave of Al-Muttalib, narrated to me from Abdul Rahman ibn Al-Huwairith, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Muta'im, from his father, a narration similar to Ibn Shihab's narration, with no addition or omission.

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, while he was in Khayf from Mina: "May Allah have mercy on a servant who hears my words, memorizes them, and conveys them to those who have not heard them. It is possible that the one who conveys knowledge may be more knowledgeable than the one receiving it. There are three qualities that the heart of a believer should not harbor: insincerity in actions, giving advice to the rulers, and abandoning the Muslim community. Their supplications will come from behind them." This is also narrated by a group of companions including Umar, Uthman, Ali, Abdullah bin Mas'ud, Muadh bin Jabal, Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas, Abu Huraira, Anas, and others. The narration of Nu'man bin Bashir is mentioned as a condition for the authenticity of this hadith.

Perhaps the carrier of knowledge does not possess knowledge himself, and perhaps the carrier of knowledge gives it to someone who is more knowledgeable than him. There are three things that a believer's heart should not be indifferent to: sincerity in actions for the sake of Allah, obedience to those in authority, and sticking to the congregation. Indeed, their supplication is made on behalf of those who are behind them."
