[Machine] He (the narrator) narrated that a man who served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for eight years reported that he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "When his food was brought near to him, he would say: 'In the name of Allah.' And when he finished eating, he would say: 'O Allah, You have given me food and drink, satisfied me, provided for me, guided me, and gave me life. All praise is due to You for what You have granted me.'"  

أحمد:١٦٥٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ

أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ رَجُلٌ خَدَمَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِذَا قُرِّبَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامُهُ يَقُولُ بِسْمِ اللهِ وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ طَعَامِهِ قَالَ اللهُمَّ أَطْعَمْتَ وَأَسْقَيْتَ وَأَغْنَيْتَ وَأَقْنَيْتَ وَهَدَيْتَ وَأَحْيَيْتَ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا أَعْطَيْتَ

[Machine] Abdulrahman ibn Jubair, who served the Prophet ﷺ for eight years, narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When food is brought near him, he (the Prophet) would say, 'Bismillah' (in the name of Allah). And when he finished eating, he would say, 'O Allah, you provided me with food and drink, enriched me and satisfied my hunger, guided me and selected me. Praise be to You for what You have given me.'"  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٨٧١ – أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدٌ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ
