[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said about wiping over the socks, "There is no harm in that."  

أحمد:١٤٥٢حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ

It was narrated from Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with regard to wiping over the Khuffs; "There is nothing wrong with it."

The Messenger of Allah wiped over his leather socks and his head cover (i.e., over the Imamah). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 561)
