[Machine] Abu Talhah was in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would lift his head from behind and look at the noble positions. Abu Talhah would extend his chest to protect the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and say, "O Messenger of Allah, let my throat be slit before yours."  

أحمد:١٣١٣٩حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوَاقِعِ نَبْلِهِ فَيَتَطَاوَلُ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِصَدْرِهِ يَقِي بِهِ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَيَقُولُ يَارَسُولَ اللهِ نَحْرِي دُونَ نَحْرِكَ

[Machine] Abu Talhah used to throw himself in front of the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ would raise his head from behind to look at his noble positions. Abu Talhah then stretched out his chest to protect the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, let me be sacrificed for you."

[Machine] Abu Talha used to throw himself in front of the Prophet ﷺ, while the Prophet ﷺ would raise his back to see where his arrows would land. Abu Talha would protect the Prophet ﷺ with his chest and say, "O Prophet of Allah, may my life be sacrificed for you, may my neck be cut instead of yours."  

الحاكم:٥٥٠٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْغَزَّالُ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ كَانَ يَرْمِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَرْفَعُ ظَهْرَهُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ لَيَنْظُرَ أَيْنَ يَقَعُ نَبْلُهُ» فَيَتَطَاوَلُ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِصَدْرِهِ يَقِي بِهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَيَقُولُ هَكَذَا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ جَعَلَنِي اللَّهُ فِدَاكَ نَحْرِي دُونَ نَحْرِكَ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ»

ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلْمَرْءِ أَنْ يُفْدِيَ إِمَامَهُ بِنَفْسِهِ

[Machine] Abu Talhah used to throw his arrows in front of the Prophet ﷺ and the Prophet ﷺ would raise his head from behind to see where it would land. Abu Talhah would extend his chest to protect the Prophet ﷺ and would say, "O Prophet of Allah, may Allah sacrifice my life for your sake, not a hair of yours."  

ابن حبّان:٤٥٨٢أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ* قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

[Machine] Abu Talhah used to throw himself in front of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Prophet ﷺ would raise his head from behind him to see where his arrows would fall. Abu Talhah would then block the Prophet ﷺ with his chest, protecting him, and he would say, "O Messenger of Allah, may Allah make me a sacrifice for you, let my neck be sacrificed instead of yours."  

ابن حبّان:٧١٨١أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
