[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ freed Safiyyah and married her. Thabit said to him: What is the truth of her? He said: Her own self freed her and married her.  

أحمد:١٢٩٣٣ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَتَزَوَّجَهَا قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ ثَابِتٌ مَا أَصْدَقَهَا؟ قَالَ نَفْسَهَا أَعْتَقَهَا وَتَزَوَّجَهَا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ married Safiyyah, and Thabit said to him, "How can you believe her?" He replied, "I believe her because she herself affirmed it and freed her and married her."  

أحمد:١٣٩٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَفِيَّةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ ثَابِتٌ مَا أَصْدَقَهَا؟ قَالَ أَصْدَقَهَا نَفْسَهَا أَعْتَقَهَا وَتَزَوَّجَهَا  

darimi:2289 – Abū al-Nuʿmān > Abū ʿAwānah > Qatādah > Anas

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set Safiyyah free, and made her ransom her dowry, and he married her. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1958)  

الدارمي:٢٢٨٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَتَزَوَّجَهَا وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا»

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ freed Safiyyah and married her, so I asked Thabit, "What did she say (regarding her marriage to the Prophet)?" He said, "She accepted willingly."
