[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a ring and engraved a design on it, then he said, "Indeed, I have taken a ring and engraved a design on it, so let no one engrave over its design."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشَ فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَقَالَ إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْتُ فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلَا يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِهِ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to love eating qar' (a type of round bread) or maybe he said "dubba" (a type of pumpkin). So, one day I saw him eating it and I placed it between his hands.  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُحِبُّ الْقَرْعَ أَوْ قَالَ الدُّبَّاءَ قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَوْمًا يَأْكُلُهُ فَجَعَلْتُ أَضَعُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ  

"I heard Anas bin Malik say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform Wudu' with a Makkuk (cup) and Ghusl with five Makkuks (cups).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 73)   

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلُبِخَمْسَةِ مَكَاكِيكَ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِمَكُّوكٍ  

No prophet was sent who had not warned his people about the one-eyed. Between his eyes will be written “infidel” (kafir). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4316)   

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا بَعَثَ اللهُ ﷻ نَبِيًّا إِلَّا أَنْذَرَ أُمَّتَهُ الدَّجَّالَ أَلَا إِنَّهُ الْأَعْوَرُ الْكَذَّابُ أَلَا إِنَّهُ أَعْوَرُ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ مَكْتُوبٌ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ كَفَرَ  

The People. of the Book offer us salutations (by saying as-Salamu- 'Alaikum). How should we reciprocate them? Thereupon he said: Say: Wa 'Alaikum (and upon you too). (Using translation from Muslim 2163b)   

عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ إِذَا سَلَّمُوا عَلَيْنَا كَيْفَ نَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ؟ قَالَ قُولُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ  

Straighten your rows for the straightening of the rows is part of perfecting the prayer. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 668)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَوُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ فَإِنَّ تَسْوِيَةَ الصَّفِ مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّلَاةِ  

"Be moderate in bowing and prostration, and do not rest your forearms along the ground like a dog." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1028)   

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اعْتَدِلُوا فِي السُّجُودِ وَلَا يَبْسُطْ أَحَدُكُمْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ كَمَا يَبْسُطُ الْكَلْبُ  

the Messenger of Allah saw a man driving a Badanah and said: "Ride it." He said: "It is Badanah." He said: "Ride it." He said: "It is a Badanah." The fourth time he said: Ride it, woe to you!" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2800)   

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَى عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ وَيْحَكَ أَوْ وَيْلَكَ ارْكَبْهَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is in prayer, they are conversing with their Lord, therefore, they should not spit in front of them or on their right side, but should spit on their left side or under their foot."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلَا يَتْفُلَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَو تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ  

We have found no reason for consternation, and we have found it to be (as quick as a torrent) of water. (Using translation from Muslim 2307b)  

كَانَتْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَزْعَةٌ فَاسْتَعَارَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺفَرَسًا لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَنْدُوبٌ فَرَكِبَهُ وَقَالَ مَا رَأَيْنَا مِنْ فَزَعٍ وَإِنْ وَجَدْنَاهُ لَبَحْرًا  

[Machine] There was a man from the Ansar who was large and unable to pray with the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am unable to pray with you." So, the Prophet ﷺ made food for him, invited him, and they spread a mat for him. He performed two raka'at (units) of prayer upon him and a man from the family of Al-Jarood asked him, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the Duha prayer?" He replied, "I have never seen him pray it except on that day."  

كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ضَخْمًا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ فَصَنَعَ لَهُ طَعَامًا وَدَعَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِلَيْهِ وَبَسَطُوا لَهُ حَصِيرًا وَنَضَحُوهُ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ الْجَارُودِ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى؟ قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّاهَا إِلَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was approached by his companions one night, so he came out and prayed with them, but he made the prayer short. Then he went into his house and stayed for a while, then he came out and prayed with them, but he made the prayer short. Then he went into his house and stayed for a while. When morning came, they said, "O Messenger of Allah, you prayed and made the prayer short when you entered and you made the prayer short when you came out." He said, "I did that for your sake."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَخَرَجَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ فَخَفَّفَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ فَأَطَالَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ فَخَفَّفَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ فَأَطَالَ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّيْتَ فَجَعَلْتَ تُطِيلُ إِذَا دَخَلْتَ وَتُخَفِّفُ إِذَا خَرَجْتَ قَالَ مِنْ أَجْلِكُمْ فَعَلْتُ مَا فَعَلْتُ  

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set Safiyyah free, and made her ransom her dowry, and he married her. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1958)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا  

Anas bin ‘Malik said “The Prophet ﷺ manumitted Safiyyah and made her manumission her dower.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2054)  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited drinking while standing. Qatadah said, "We asked Anas about eating, and he said, 'Eating is even more intense.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ زَجَرَ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا قَالَ قَتَادَةُ فَسَأَلْنَا أَنَسًا عَنِ الْأَكْلِ قَالَ الْأَكْلُ أَشَدُّ  

[Machine] "I was a diligent boy, so I caught a rabbit and roasted it. Then Abu Talha sent me with its legs to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I brought them to him."  

كُنْتُ غُلَامًا جَوَادًا فَصِدْتُ أَرْنَبًا فَشَوَيْنَاهَا فَأَرْسَلَ مَعِي أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِعَجُزِهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا  

It would be said to the non-believers on the Day of Resurrection: If you were to possess gold, filling the whole earth, would you like to secure your freedom by paying that? He would say: Yes. Thereupon it would be said to him: Something easier (than this) was demanded from you (but you paid no heed to it). (Using translation from Muslim 2805c)  

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يُقَالُ لِلْكَافِرِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ لَكَ مِلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا أَكُنْتَ تَفْتَدِي بِهِ؟ فَيَقُولُ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ قَدْ سُئِلْتَ أَيْسَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ  

"The garment the Messenger ﷺ like most to wear was the Hibrah." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1787)  

كَانَ أَحَبَّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَلْبَسَهَا الْحِبَرَةُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to visit his wives at the same time, whether during the day or night, and they were eleven in total. I asked Anas, "Could he handle that?" He said, "We used to say that he was given the strength of thirty."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَدُورُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فِي السَّاعَةِ الْوَاحِدَةِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُنَّ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ هَلْ كَانَ يُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّهُ أُعْطِيَ قُوَّةَ ثَلَاثِينَ  

Were it not (that I fear) it may be part of sadaqa, I would have eaten it. (Using translation from Muslim 1071c)  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَجَدَ تَمْرَةً فَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ تَكُونَ صَدَقَةً لَأَكَلْتُهَا  

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication, and I have kept my supplication as intercession for my Ummah (community) on the Day of Resurrection."  

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
