الزهد لأحمد:٢٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْفُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْكَلْبِيِّ وَابْنَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَهْبٍ قَالَ

«إِنَّ الْبَلَاءَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ كَالشِّكَالِ لِلدَّابَّةِ»
