When Allah fashioned Adam in Paradise, He left him as He liked him to leave. Then Iblis roamed round him to see what actually that was and when he found him hollow from within, he recognised that he had been created with a disposition that he would not have control over himself.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَمَّا صَوَّرَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ تَرَكَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيسُ يُطِيفُ بِهِ يَنْظُرُ مَا هُوَ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ خُلِقَ خَلْقًا لاَ يَتَمَالَكُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah created Adam and formed him, He left him and made Iblis circle around him, observing him. When Iblis saw him hollow, he said, 'I have succeeded in capturing a being who cannot control himself.'"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When Allah created Adam, He made Iblis go around him. When he saw him hollow, he said, 'I have escaped from him, a creation that is not steadfast.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ جَعَلَ إِبْلِيسَ يُطِيفُ بِهِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ قَالَ طَفِرْتُ بِهِ خَلْقٌ لَا يَتَمَالَكُ»

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لَمَّا صَوَّرَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى آدَمَ تَرَكَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ فَجَعَلَ يُطِيفُ بِهِ إِبْلِيسُ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ لَا يتمالك

قَالَ لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى آدَمَ فَصَوَّرَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيسُ يُطِيفُ بِهِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ خَلْقًا مُجَوَّفًا عَلِمَ أَنَّهُ لا يَتَمَالَكُ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَدْ رَفَعَهُ

"لَمَّا صَوَّرَ اللهُ آدَمَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ تَرَكَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ "أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيس يُطِيفُ بِهِ، يَنْظُر إِلَيه، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ عرَفَ أَنَّهُ خَلْقٌ لَا يَتَمَالك".

"لَمَّا صَوَّرَ اللهُ آدَمَ تَرَكَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيس يُطِيفُ به يَنْظُرُ إِلَيه فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أجْوَفَ، قَال: ظَفِرْتُ بِه، خَلْقٌ لَا يَتَمَالك".
