[Machine] Abu Waqid Al-Laithi said: "We have followed the deeds, and we have found nothing more effective in seeking the hereafter than asceticism in this world."  

الزهد لأحمد:١١١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ تَابَعْنَا الْأَعْمَالَ فَلَمْ نَجِدْ شَيْئًا أَبْلَغَ فِي طَلَبِ الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ زَهَادَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا
