[Machine] My father, grandfather, and uncle were with the Prophet ﷺ . My father told me that he saw the Prophet ﷺ giving a sermon on the evening of Arafah on a red camel. Salamah said: My father advised me to perform the pre-dawn prayer. I said, "O my father, I cannot bear it." He said, "Then pray two rak'ahs before dawn and do not abandon them, and do not be fascinated by temptation."
كَانَ أَبِي وَجَدِّي وعَمِّي مَعَ النَّبَيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ عَلَى جَمَلٍ أَحْمَرَ
قالَ سَلَمَةُ: أوْصانِي أبِي بِصَلاةِ السَّحَرِ، قُلْتُ: يا أبَتِ إنِّي لا أُطِيقُها، قالَ: فانْظُرِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الفَجْرِ لا تَدَعْهُما، ولا تَشْخَصْ فِي الفِتْنَةِ "
