[Machine] Shall I guide you to a cool treasure? They said, "What is it, Abu Huraira?" He said, "Fasting in winter."
[Machine] Shall I guide you to a cool treasure? They said, "What is it, Abu Huraira?" He said, "Fasting in winter."
[Machine] Abu Hurairah said, "I do not believe in you, that you contemplate what you cannot reach, and you gather what you cannot eat, and you build what you cannot inhabit."
[Machine] Abu Hurairah, may Allah have mercy on him, used to stay up for one third of the night, and his wife used to stay up for one third of the night, and his son used to stay up for one third of the night when he slept. If one of them stayed up, the other would also stay up.
[Machine] To ride in a boat without considering it as a guarantee from Allah.
[Machine] "That Abu Hurairah had a black servant and she supported him with her work. He raised the whip against her one day and said, 'If it were not for retribution, I would have overwhelmed you with it. But I will sell you to someone who will give me your price. Go, for you belong to Allah.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me some dates and I placed them in a bag for us. We hung it on the roof of the house and we did not eat from it until the people of Sham (Syria) attacked the city.
[Machine] That Abu Huraira and his companions used to sit in the pre-dawn time when they fasted; they said, "We cleanse our sins."
[Machine] Abu Hurairah used to circumambulate the Kaaba while saying, "Woe to me from my stomach, if I fill it, it burdens me. And if I empty it, it weakens me."
[Machine] On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will say: "I had provided food for you, but you did not feed Me." If you had fed Me, then I would have fed you today. And I had given water to you, but you did not give Me water." If you had given Me water, then I would have given you water today.
[Machine] I heard Abu Huraira saying, "One of you should remove the speck from his brother's eye, but forgets about the log or branch in his own eye."
[Machine] Like this, and like that, and he pointed with his hands in front of him, behind him, to his right, and to his left. Then he said, "And they are few." He said, "Yazeed, if I had not heard it from Abu Hurairah, he pointed with his fingers to his ears, but otherwise, silence."
[Machine] "No one who cries out of fear of Allah ﷻ will enter the Hellfire until the milk returns in the udder."
[Machine] When death approached him, he wept. So, he was asked, "O Abu Hurayrah, what makes you cry?" He replied, "The distance of the battle and the scarcity of provisions, and the difficulty of the journey, like the hill of a difficult descent from which one would proceed to either Paradise or Hell."
[Machine] "So, you are the one at the forefront and I am the one praying."
[Machine] "By himself, praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Allah has written for him thirty good deeds and erased from him thirty bad deeds. Whoever says Allah is the Greatest, Allah writes for him twenty good deeds and erases from him twenty bad deeds. And whoever says Glory be to Allah, Allah writes for him twenty good deeds and erases from him twenty bad deeds."
[Machine] I heard Abu Ayyub, who is Abdullah ibn Abi Salamah, the servant of Uthman ibn Affan, say: Abu Hurairah had a mosque in his small room, a mosque in his house, a mosque in his chamber, a mosque in his house, and a mosque at the door of his house. When he entered, he would pray in all of them, and when he left, he would also pray in all of them.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!") (Using translation from Bukhārī 6064)
