The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade every intoxicant and everything which produces languidness.  

أبو داود:٣٦٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ عَبْدُ رَبِّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْفُقَيْمِيِّ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ وَمُفَتِّرٍ

[Machine] I heard Umm Salamah say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade every type of intoxicant and fabricator.

سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ تَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ وَمُفْتِرٍ  

الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عُتَيْبَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ
