The Prophet ﷺ appointed Ubn Umm Makthum as a governor of Medina (in his absence) twice.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ
The Prophet ﷺ appointed Ubn Umm Makthum as a governor of Medina (in his absence) twice.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ
Anas said that the Prophet ﷺ appointed Ibn Umm Maktum as substitute to lead the people in prayer, and he was blind.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ وَهُوَ أَعْمَى
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed Ibn Umm Maktum as the leader of Medina two times, leading the prayer despite being blind.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ وَهُوَ أَعْمَى
[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed Ibn Umm Maktum as governor of Al-Madinah twice. I have indeed seen him on the day of Qadisiyyah with a black flag.
اسْتَخْلَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقَادِسِيَّةِ مَعَهُ رَايَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَغَيْرِهَا مِنْ أَمَرِ الْمَدِينَةِ»
