The Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue or his hands. And a Muhajir (an emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden."  

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ  

"I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the Muhajir is the one who forsakes (Hajara) that which Allah has forbidden to him."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands. And a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden." (Using translation from Bukhārī 10)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمُهَاجِرَ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ وَالْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ  

A Muslim is he from whose hand and tongue the Muslims are safe. (Using translation from Muslim 41)  

سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَلَا تُحَدِّثْنِي عَنِ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ  

‘Amir said “A man came to ‘Abd Allaah bin ‘Amr while the people were with him. He sat with him and said “Tell me anything that you heard from the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ”. He said “I hears the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ say “A Muslim is he from whose tongue and hand the Muslims remain safe and an emigrant is he who abandons what Allaah has prohibited.”” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2481)   

حَدِّثْنِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ  

‘Amir said “A man came to ‘Abd Allaah bin ‘Amr while the people were with him. He sat with him and said “Tell me anything that you heard from the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ”. أَخْبِرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ حَفِظْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ  

[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I do not ask you about the Torah. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand Muslims are safe.'"  

سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَا أَسْأَلُكَ عَنِ التَّوْرَاةِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُرَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ  

"I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the Muhajir is the one who forsakes (Hajara) that which Allah has forbidden to him." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4996)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ» اللَّفْظُ لِيُوسُفَ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue or his hands. And a Muhajir (an emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6484)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ  

"المهاجرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ السُّوءَ، والمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ المُسْلِمُونَ من لسانِهِ ويَدِهِ" .  

"المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده، والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه" .
