tirmidhi:3280 – Saʿīd b. Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd al-Umawī from my father > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah

from Ibn 'Abbas regarding Allah's saying: And indeed he saw him at a second descent. Near Sidrat Al-Muntaha (53:13 & 14). So He revealed to His worshiper whatever he revealed (53:10). And was a distance of two bow lengths or less (53:9). Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Prophet ﷺ saw Him."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.
الترمذي:٣٢٨٠ – حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ ( ولَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً * أُخْرَى عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى ) ( فأوْحَى إِلَى عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَى ) (فكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَى ) قَالَ

ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَدْ رَآهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ
