that regarding Allah's saying: '...And you practice evil in your meetings... (29:29) that the Prophet ﷺ said: "They would throw pebbles at people of the land and make a mockery of them."  

الترمذي:٣١٩٠حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ السَّهْمِيُّ عَنْ حَاتِمِ بْنِ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى (أتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ ) قَالَ كَانُوا يَخْذِفُونَ أَهْلَ الأَرْضِ وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ حَاتِمِ بْنِ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ عَنْ حَاتِمِ بْنِ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about His saying, exalted be He, "{And they used to come to you with false words.}" [Al-Ankabut 29]. He said, "They used to insult and mock the people of the way, and that is the evil (Munkar) which they used to commit."

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ} [العنكبوت 29] قَالَ كَانُوا يَخْذِفُونَ أَهْلَ الطَّرِيقِ وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ فَذَلِكَ الْمُنْكَرُ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَأْتُونَ

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about his saying, "And you do not pass by any group of people but they will taunt them." He said, "They used to mock and make fun of anyone who passed by them on the road."
