from Ibn 'Umar who said: "I heard 'Umar mentioning that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever wears silk in the world he shall not wear it in the Hereafter.'"
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَحُذَيْفَةَ وَأَنَسٍ وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ وَقَدْ ذَكَرْنَاهُ فِي كِتَابِ اللِّبَاسِ
I heard 'Abdullah b. Zubair addressing the people and saying: Behold! do not dress yuor women with silk clothes for I heard 'Umar b. Khattab as sayinp that he had heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Do not wear silk, for one who wear it in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَلْبَسُوا الْحَرِيرَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَبِسَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ
He who wore silk in this world would not wear it in the Hereafter.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ
I heard ʿUmar saying, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever wears silk in this world, shall not wear it in the Hereafter." This hadith is also narrated through 'Umar ibn al-Khattab. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5834)
