From his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The souls of the martyrs are in green birds, suspended from the fruit of Paradise, or the trees of Paradise."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ أَرْوَاحَ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِي طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلُقُ مِنْ ثَمَرَةِ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ means that the souls of the martyrs are attached to a green bird flying from the fruits of paradise. It was also narrated that a breeze is attached to Sufyan in a fruit or tree of paradise.
النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَعْنِي أَنَّ أَرْوَاحَ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِي طَائِرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلُقُ مِنْ ثَمَرِ الْجَنَّةِ وَقُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ نَسَمَةٌ تَعْلُقُ فِي ثَمَرَةٍ أَوْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ
"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: أَرْوَاحُ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِى أَجْوَافِ طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلَقُ مِنْ ثَمَرِ الجَنَّةِ".
"إِنَّ أَرْوَاحَ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِى طَيْرٍ خُضْر تَعْلُقُ من ثَمَرِ الْجَنَّةِ ".
