[Machine] "Fasting is from the sighting of the crescent moon until its sighting. If it is hidden from you, then fast for thirty days."
«الصِّيَامُ مِنْ رُؤْيَةِ الْهِلَالِ إِلَى رُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ خَفِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَثَلَاثُونَ يَوْمًا»
[Machine] I heard Abu al-Qasim ﷺ say, "Fast when you see the crescent moon and break your fast when you see it. But if it is cloudy for you, then complete thirty days."
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ صُومُوا الْهِلَالَ لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَعُدُّوا ثَلَاثِينَ
[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying: "Fast when you see it (the new moon) and break your fast when you see it. But if it is cloudy for you, then complete the thirty (days of the previous month)."
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَعُدُّوا ثَلَاثِينَ
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ رُؤْيَةَ هِلَالِ شَوَّالٍ، إِذَا غُمَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِتْمَامُ رَمَضَانَ ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا
"the Messenger of Allah said: 'Fast when you see it and stop fasting when you see it, and if it is obscured from you (too cloudy), then count it as thirty (days). "' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2117)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَصُومُوا ثَلَاثِينَ»
