الطبراني:٨٨٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ لَمَّا قُتِلَ عُمَرُ سَارَ إِلَيْنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ سَبْعًا فَخَطَبَنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ §عُمَرَ أَصَابَهُ أَبُو لُؤْلُؤَةَ غُلَامُ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ وَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَبَكَى وَبَكَى النَّاسُ ثُمَّ قَالَ

إِنَّا اجْتَمَعْنَا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ فَأَمَّرْنَا خَيْرَنَا ذَا فُوقٍ
