[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The companion of the right hand (i.e., the angels) is trustworthy over the companion of the left (i.e., the devils). So, if he (the person) does a good deed, it is recorded and if he does a bad deed, the companion of the right hand says to him, 'Wait for six hours, maybe he will seek forgiveness and it won't be written against him. Otherwise, it will be recorded as a bad deed."  

الطبراني:٧٧٨٧ – حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَاحِبُ الْيَمِينِ أَمِينٌ عَلَى صَاحِبِ الشِّمَالِ فَإِذَا عَمِلَ حَسَنَةً أَثْبَتَهَا وَإِذَا عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةً قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُ الْيَمِينِ امْكُثْ سِتَّ سَاعَاتٍ فَإِنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ لَمْ يَكْتُبْ عَلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا أَثْبَتَ عَلَيْهِ سَيِّئَةً

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The companion on the right is a trustworthy guardian over the companion on the left. When a servant performs a good deed, it is recorded for him ten times its value. And when he commits a bad deed and the companion on the left intends to record it, the companion on the right says to him, 'Hold on, refrain from recording it.' So, if he seeks forgiveness from Allah, it is not recorded against him. And if he remains silent, it is recorded against him."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ صَاحِبُ الْيَمِينِ أَمِينٌ عَلَى صَاحِبِ الشِّمَالِ فَإِذَا عَمِلَ الْعَبْدُ حَسَنَةً كَتَبَهَا بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا وَإِذَا عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةً وَأَرَادَ صَاحِبُ الشِّمَالِ أَنْ يَكْتُبَهَا قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُ الْيَمِينِ أَمْسِكْ عَنْهَا فَيُمْسِكُ عَنْهَا فَإِنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ اللهَ لَمْ يَكْتُبْ وَإِنْ سَكَتَ كُتِبَتْ عَلَيْهِ
