[Machine] "When Mu'adh ibn Jabal arrived in Sham, he saw the Jews prostrating to their rabbis and scholars, and he saw the Christians prostrating to their bishops and monks. When he arrived to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he prostrated to him, so the Messenger ﷺ said, 'What is this, O Mu'adh?' He replied, 'I arrived in Sham and saw the Jews prostrating to their rabbis and scholars, and I saw the Christians prostrating to their bishops and monks, so I said, 'What is this?' They said it is the greeting of the prophets.' So the Messenger ﷺ said, 'They lied upon their prophets, just as they distorted their scriptures. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband.'"

[Machine] "He came to Sham (Syria) and saw the Christians prostrating to their bishops, priests, and monks. He also saw the Jews prostrating to their rabbis and scholars. He asked, 'What is it that you are doing?' They replied, 'This is how we greet the prophets, may peace be upon them.' He said, 'We are more deserving of doing this for our Prophet.' The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, 'They have lied about their prophets just as they have distorted their scriptures. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have ordered the wife to prostrate to her husband, due to his great right upon her. A woman cannot attain true faith until she fulfills the rights of her husband, even if he asks of her (whatever he wants) while she is on the back of a camel.'"
