[Machine] Do you remember when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to your people, the Bani Sa'd, and I presented Islam to them and invited them to it? I said, "You are the one who calls to goodness and commands it. Indeed, he is calling to goodness and commanding it." So I conveyed that to the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "O Allah, make a contract for Al-Ahnaf." And Al-Ahnaf used to say, "There is nothing more beloved to me than this action."  

الطبراني:٧٢٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ الْأَحْنَفَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ زَمَنَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ إِذْ أَخَذَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ يَدِي فَقَالَ أَلَا أُبَشِّرُكَ؟ فَقُلْتُ بَلَى فَقَالَ

هَلْ تَذْكُرُ إِذْ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى قَوْمِكَ بَنِي سَعْدٍ فَجَعَلْتُ أَعْرِضُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْإِسْلَامَ وَأَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ أَنْتَ إِنَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُ بِهِ إِنَّهُ لَيَدْعُو إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُ بِهِ فَبَلَّغْتُ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ اعْقِدِ لِلْأَحْنَفِ» فَكَانَ الْأَحْنَفُ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ عَمَلِي شَيْءٌ أَرْجَى لِي مِنْهُ»
