عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى

[Machine] "That he passed by the Prophet ﷺ while he was praying voluntarily and he passed by a verse mentioning the Hellfire, so he said, 'Woe to the people of the Hellfire! I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the Hellfire.'"  

الطبراني:٦٤٣٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى جَدِّ مُحَمَّدٍ

أَنَّهُ مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي تَطَوُّعًا فَمَرَّ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ ذِكْرِ النَّارِ فَقَالَ «وَيْلٌ لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ»

“I prayed beside the Prophet ﷺ when he was praying voluntary prayers at night. He recited a Verse which mentioned punishment and said: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire, woe to the people of the Fire.’”
