[Machine] I saw Abu Lahab at 'Ukaz while he was following the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and saying, "O people, indeed this [man] has gone astray, so do not let him mislead you from the [good] deeds of your forefathers. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeks refuge from him while he [Abu Lahab] is following him."  

الطبراني:٤٥٨٨حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرٍ الْحِزَامِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَا ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْقَارِظِيُّ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عِبَادٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا لَهَبٍ بِعُكَاظٍ وَهُوَ يَتْبَعُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ هَذَا قَدْ غَوَى فَلَا يُغْوِيَنَّكُمْ عَنْ مَآثِرِ آبَائِكُمْ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَلُوذُ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ يَتْبَعُهُ

[Machine] He said, "I saw Abu Lahab in 'Ukaz, following the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he was saying, 'O people, indeed, this man has gone astray, so do not let him mislead you from your gods and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was fleeing from him, and he was on his trail, while we were following him. We were mere youths, and I remember him, encircled by two white men, the finest of them."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا لَهَبٍ بِعُكَاظٍ وَهُوَ يَتْبَعُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ هَذَا قَدْ غَوَى فَلَا يُغْوِيَنَّكُمْ عَنْ آلِهَةِ آبَائِكُمْ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَفِرُّ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ عَلَى أَثَرِهِ وَنَحْنُ نَتْبَعُهُ وَنَحْنُ غِلْمَانُ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ أَحْوَلُ ذُو غَدِيرَتَيْنِ أَبْيَضَ النَّاسِ وَأَجْمَلَهُمْ
