Crying due to the loss of the direct Divine connection after the death of the Prophet ﷺ

tabarani:21788ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Abū Ḥudhayfah > Sufyān al-Thawrī > Qays b. Muslim > Ṭāriq b. Shihāb

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away, Umm Ayman, who was the mother of Usama b. Zayd, cried. It was asked, "What makes you cry?" She replied, "The news from heaven has been cut off from us."  

الطبراني:٢١٧٨٨حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمَ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَكَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ وَهِيَ أُمُّ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ فَقِيلَ لَهَا مَا يُبْكِيكَ؟ فَقَالَتْ «انْقَطَعَ عَنَّا خَبَرُ السَّمَاءِ»

"عن طارِقِ بْنِ شهابٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ جَعَلَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ نَبكِى فَقِيْلَ لَهَا: لِمَ تَبْكِينَ يَا أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ؟ قَالَتْ: أَبْكِي عَلَى خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ انْقَطَع عَنَّا".
