[Machine] To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Spend and do not count, for it will be counted against you."

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْفِقِي وأَرْضِخِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصَى عَلَيْكِ» بَابٌ

Aisha counted a number of indigents. AbuDawud said: The other version has: She counted a number of sadaqahs. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Give and do not calculate, so calculation will be made against you.  

أبو داود:١٧٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ عِدَّةً مِنْ مَسَاكِينَ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ أَوْ عِدَّةً مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ فَقَالَ

لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَعْطِي وَلاَ تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ عَلَيْكِ
